Burnt Orange & Bold Details – Stationery for Zonzo Estate’s Wedding Tasting Night
Designing stationery for a venue as breathtaking as Zonzo Estate in the Yarra Valley is always an exciting challenge. Recently, I had the pleasure of creating custom stationery for one of their signature tasting nights, a special event where engaged couples get a firsthand experience of what their wedding day could be like at the estate.
Zonzo’s tasting nights offer more than just delicious food and wine; they are a chance for couples to see the venue come alive with stunning styling, music, and the best of local suppliers. For this evening, I designed the guest menus, welcome sign, and seating chart, all tailored to fit the warm, bold, and romantic atmosphere of the event.
The guest menus were printed on a beautiful Bitter Sunset stock, a rich burnt orange tone that immediately caught the eye. Using crisp white ink for the text created a striking contrast and kept the design clean and modern. These menus perfectly complemented the lush floral arrangements by Flowers by Debbie Oneill, which featured deep, warm colours and soft textures. Together, the stationery and florals set a welcoming and elegant mood for the guests.
In addition to the menus, I created a freestanding welcome sign and seating chart that welcomed guests as they arrived. The signage featured bold orange and green tones that reflected the colour palette used throughout the event. The freestanding design made the signs stand out and gave a polished, professional look that fit seamlessly with the venue’s sophisticated style. The clean, modern typography kept the look fresh and on-brand for Zonzo Estate.
Working on this event meant collaborating with an incredible team of creatives. Alongside the beautiful florals by Flowers by Debbie Oneill, there was live art by Halle Dott Art, music by JJ DJ, and a wonderful cello performance accompanied by the signature bonbonniere, Zoncello Limoncello Spritz. Every element worked in harmony to create a truly memorable experience for all who attended.
This project highlights how thoughtful stationery can elevate an event and tie all the visual details together. From menus to signage, every piece is an opportunity to reflect the couple’s style and personality. When designed with care, stationery becomes much more than paper; it becomes part of the story and the atmosphere of the day.
If you are planning a wedding at Zonzo Estate or another beautiful winery venue, I would love to help you create stationery that matches your vision perfectly. Whether you want bold and colourful or soft and romantic, we can craft a look that fits your style and makes your day even more special.
